Program Funding

The 2025 fiscal year (July 1, 2024 – June 30, 2025) appropriation for the Grant Programs of Police, Fire, or Correctional Officers is $1,300,000.

Payment

2024-25 PFC Certification of Enrollment for Payment rosters for the second term (winter for quarter schools; spring for semester schools) were e-mailed to financial aid directors on March 21, 2025.

In order to be considered timely, 2024-25 PFC payment requests (claims) for the second term must be received at ISAC on or before Friday, May 30, 2025, which is the priority claim deadline date. The timely submission of payment requests allows ISAC staff to monitor remaining funds and award other students, as applicable.

This page will be updated when third-term (spring for quarter schools) Certification of Enrollment for Payment rosters have been sent to financial aid directors.

Application

The application for the 2024-25 Grant Programs for Dependents of Police, Fire, and Correctional Officers is available to download and print. In order to receive full-year consideration, an application must have been received on or before October 1, 2024. For spring-term and summer-term consideration, the deadline date is March 1, 2025. For summer-term consideration only, applications must be received on or before June 15, 2025. Applications received by ISAC after these deadline dates will be processed only for subsequent terms, with June 15, 2025 as the final date of acceptance for the summer term.
