Program Information

With College Illinois! prepaid tuition, students can attend the eligible school of their choice. Since students sometimes transfer schools, benefits can be used at more than one school during a college career and unused benefits can be applied towards graduate study tuition and fees. 

Each semester purchased is the equivalent of 15 semester hours. Semester hours can be converted into quarter hours and trimester hours for those institutions operating on a different schedule. 

And entering college later is okay. The student has 10 years from the expected college enrollment date to begin using prepaid tuition benefits and 10 years from enrollment to finish using the benefits.
