April 15 e-Message announces that the 2025 Colleges Changes Everything Conference will take place on Thursday, July 17, 2025, at the Tinley Park Convention Center, Tinley Park, Illinois. Consider helping make this conference a valuable professional development and collaborative experience by submitting a conference interest session proposal – due May 6, 2025.
An
April 14 e-Message announces an opportunity for external partners on Wednesday, April 23 at 2 p.m. to prepare for the next steps in administering the 2025-26 ECACE scholarship program. At the webinar, ISAC will present information about the program’s eligibility criteria, application process, certification process, and awarding criteria for the 2025-26 ECACE scholarship. On the day of the webinar, the webinar link and presentation materials will be posted in ISAC’s e-Library on the Partner Training page.
The next regular meeting of ISAC will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, April 17, 2025. Items of the tentative agenda include: FY2026 MAP revised start-up formula, proposed administrative rules and amendments, state legislative update, and College Illinois. You may attend the meeting in person either at ISAC’s Deerfield or Springfield office. There will be no videoconference access to the meeting from ISAC’s website. See the

An
April 9 e-Message provides details on how colleges participating in the MAP, IVG, and ING Grant programs will submit required budget data for the 2025-26 processing cycle. There have been no changes to the data collected or the collection process from the 2024-25 academic year. Colleges must submit their budget data online via the “School: Budget” area of the GAP Access portal
on or before Sunday, June 1, 2025.
ISAC will offer two webinars for financial aid administrators during the month of April. The first on April 8 at 10 a.m. to discuss the annual budget reporting process and the second on April 30 to discuss monthly program and operational updates. An

The GAP Access portal is available for submission of third-term payment requests (claims). An
April 1 e-Message details ISAC programs for which this is available. Colleges are encouraged to submit 2024-25 claims and/or benefit usage data as soon as possible.

March 31 e-Message announces ISAC is now accepting 2024-25 MAP third-term payment requests, The claim deadline for the third term is
Friday, May 9, 2025. Second-term claims were due
Friday, April 4, 2025 as announced in a
January 2 e-Message.
The 2025-25 Early Childhood Access Consortium for Equity (ECACE) Scholarship Program application is now being accepted. The priority consideration date for the application process to be completed is May 19, 2025.
A March 31 e-Message provides additional details, reminders, and “What’s New” for this year’s application and awarding process.
The 2024-25 iGROW payment processing cycle has begun. Colleges may now submit payment requests for Term 1 and Term 2. Schools are urged to submit as soon as possible. The priority claim deadline for both Term 1 and Term 2 is Friday, May 2, 2025. A

On Friday, March 14 the FY26 MAP Start-Up Formula was revised and successfully implemented in the GAP Access portal. The Start-Up formula was adjusted to remain at the current FY25 level, maintaining the FY25 4 percent reduction factor. Additional details can be found in a

March 3 e-Message announces the 2025-26 Nursing Education Scholarship Program is now available. Applications will not be accepted after Wednesday, April 30.

February 26 e-Message announces three new security measures for the GAP Access portal. The new procedures include users changing their password every 30 days, locking individual user accounts after 60 days of inactivity, and an annual user agreement. Measures have been put in place in order to ensure the protection and integrity of student records.
